There will be a temporary road closure between nos. 9 to 20 Albert Embankment, starting on 18th June 2016 and lasting for up to a month.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING
NOS. 9 TO 20 ALBERT EMBANKMENT
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable works to dismantle and remove a gantry to be carried out safely, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to:-
(a) temporarily ban vehicles from entering that length of the service road fronting Nos. 9 to 20 Albert Embankment which lies between the south side of the vehicular entrance to No. 9 Albert Embankment and the northern kerb-line of Salamanca Street;
(b) suspend the one-way traffic system in that service road, between Black Prince Road and Salamanca Street, so as to provide access and egress for vehicles as far as the works allow.
2. The above road closure and suspension would only apply at such times and to such extent as shall be indicated by the placing of the appropriate traffic signs.
3. Alternative routes would be available (a) for vehicles not exceeding 13 feet 6 inches in height via Black Prince Road, Vauxhall Walk and Salamanca Street; and (b) via Black Prince Road and Albert Embankment.
4. The Order would come into force on 18th June 2016 and it would continue for a maximum duration of 1 month or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
